Skilled in linear and non-linear finite element analysis and design, including pressure vessels, heat exchangers, piping components, and structural supports. Extensive background in the petrochemical and power industries. Holder of two patents. Taught Mechanical Design drafting at the University of California, Irving and Finite Element Analysis at California State University, Fullerton. Served as a United States Navy Lieutenant, on nuclear submarines and qualified as an engineering officer.

The past 12 years have been focused on risk management, maintenance, and corrosion prevention projects for pipeline operators & large energy companies including direct responsibility for projects & material supply in excess of 30 million dollars in that same time period.

The past 12 years have focused on large pipeline projects including oversight of ROW grubbing, excavation/trenching, boring, sand blasting, fabrication/welding, coating, hydro-testing, and inspection/testing of pipe during direct digs & atmospheric assessments. Certified as NACE Level 2 Coating Inspector, AWS NWS CPW National Welding Inspector, and API 1169 Inspector. Qualified in the application of Holiday Inspection equipment (SPY), external corrosion control, protective coatings, and corrosion inhibitors as well as sand blasting, structural welding, and heavy equipment operation.
